Dr. Messer is a board-certified pediatrician who performs evaluations as part of full medical-psychological assessments at Children's Research Triangle. Dr. Messer also sees patients on a regular basis to manage medications. Dr. Messer has co-authored a book, Risk and Promise, to educate parents who are considering overseas or domestic adoption. She also provides pre-adoption consultations to assist parents in making fully informed decisions for their families. Dr. Messer received her medical degree and served a pediatric residency at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia.
