Dr. Bailey provides assessment, treatment, and consultation services for school-aged children, adolescents, and their families. He specializes in working with foster or adoptive children who have been prenatally exposed to drugs and/or alcohol. His work at Children's Research Triangle (CRT) has involved working with children having a variety of special needs. He has worked with many children and adolescents exhibiting problems with learning, attention, mood, and anxiety. Dr. Bailey acted as Project Coordinator for CRT's CDC-funded study aimed at treating the neurocognitive and behavioral deficits of children with Fetal Alcohol Syndrome and he continues to be an active member of the research program. Dr. Bailey received his M.A. and Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Loyola University, Chicago.
