Children's Research Triangle participates in several fundraising events throughout the year. Our third annual Heroes of Our Hearts gala took place on March 10, 2007 at the Hyatt Regency OHare. This tremendously successful event was attended by 310 guests, and featured the presentation of the Heroes of Our Hearts Award to the office of Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan. The Attorney Generals office joins 2006 honorees Senator Barack and Mrs. Michelle Obama as the distinguished recipients of this award for outstanding commitment to serving children. We are looking forward to our 2008 fall gala, which will be held on September 27, 2008 and will provide details for this event as they become available.

The Elizabeth Arden Spa Event in April was a wonderful opportunity for our donors to raise money for CRT while enjoying an evening of pampering. Thank you to Elizabeth Arden, AS YOU WISH, and our generous supporters.
We were excited to be a part of The Shopping Event, sponsored by Bloomingdales on Wednesday, August 29th. Our our supporters were able to shop at a 15-20% discount and raised money for CRT's programs. Staff of CRT also took part in the Culinary Challenge at The Shopping Benefit and won an additional $300 donation.
